- 1 (1 1/4 ounce) envelope onion soup mix
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon red peppers or 1/2 teaspoon cayenne
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 2 lbs rump roast
Recipe
- 1 combine soup mix and spices with 2 cups of water in roasting pan.
- 2 add roast, cover and bake at 350 for 3 hours.
- 3 remove from oven, cool slightly and slice.
