Spicy Maple Pumpkin Soup

- 1/3 cup quinoa or 1/3 cup flour
- 2 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 (15 ounce) cans pumpkin puree
- 5 cups chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 cup buttermilk
Recipe
- 1 in a large pot, combine quinoa flakes, spices, pumpkin, broth and maple syrup. bring to a boil. reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
