- 1 (28 ounce) can premium crushed italian-style tomatoes
- 1 whole onion, sliced
- 4 cups vegetable juice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 15 basil leaves
- salt and pepper
- garlic
- 1/2 pint heavy whipping cream
Recipe
- 1 saute onions and garlic in olive oil.
- 2 add tomatoes and vegetable juice and basil leaves.
- 3 simmer for 1 hour.
- 4 add whipping cream.
- 5 simmer for another 3 minutes.
- 6 serve.
