Tomato And Rice Soup

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 onion
  • 2 (400 g) cans chopped tomatoes with chili
  • 500 g passata
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 100 g arborio risotto rice

Recipe

  • 1 cook onion in oil.
  • 2 add tomatoes, sugar and 500ml water and bring to the boil.
  • 3 sprinkle in the rice and stir.
  • 4 season and simmer, partially covered for 15-20 minutes or until rice is cooked and tender, stirring occasionally.
