Sunday Chicken

Total Time: 1 hr 5 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 50 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 6 boneless skinned chicken breasts
  • 6 slices swiss cheese
  • 1 (11 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/4 cup wine
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 1/4 cups chicken stuffing mix
  • 1 cup butter

Recipe

  • 1 grease 9x13 baking dish.
  • 2 line bottom with chicken breasts.
  • 3 sprinkle 1/2 teaspoons of stuffing seasoning mix on chicken.
  • 4 lay a slice of cheese on each breast.
  • 5 mix soup, wine and broth together.
  • 6 (you may want to use all wine for the liquid).
  • 7 pour over chicken and cheese.
  • 8 sprinkle 1 1/4 cup of stovetop stuffing over chicken.
  • 9 melt butter and pour over top.
  • 10 add a little more seasoning if you wish.
  • 11 bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
