Tuna Noodle And Pea Casserole

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 (12 ounce) box elbow macaroni, prepared according to package
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen peas
  • 10 ounces canned tuna, drained
  • 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded

Recipe

  • 1 melt butter in a medium saucepan. add flour, salt, and pepper. cook for 3-5 minutes. (until slightly thick) set aside. 1 (12 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup, prepared may be substituted.
  • 2 place noodles in the bottom of a 9 by 13 inch pan. top with frozen peas, then tuna.
  • 3 pour cream soup over noodles, peas, and tuna.
  • 4 top with cheddar cheese.
  • 5 bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
