Stove Top Barbecue Ribs

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 2 -3 lbs lamb ribs
- 1 (2 ounce) envelope dry onion soup mix (i use liptons)
- 3/4 cup barbecue sauce
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 tablespoon tabasco sauce
Recipe
- 1 place soup mix, bbq sauce, water and tabasco sauce in a large sauce pan.
- 2 stir to combine.
- 3 bring to a boil.
- 4 add ribs.
- 5 cover pot, reduce heat and simmer for about 45 minutes (sauce will not cover all of the ribs).
- 6 remove ribs to a dish.
- 7 bring sauce to a boil and stir until thickened.
- 8 taste and add salt pepper and more tabasco to taste (i usually add another tablespoon = we like our sauce on the hot side).
- 9 cut ribs into serving sized pieces and return to the pot of thickened sauce.
- 10 stir to coat ribs.
- 11 serve and enjoy (i hope).
