Squash & Cornbread Dressing

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 25 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked squash
  • 2 cups cooked crumbled cornbread
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/2 chopped bell pepper (optional)
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • salt
  • pepper

Recipe

  • 1 cook onion, pepper and squash with half of butter until tender.
  • 2 mix soup, eggs, cornbread together in large bowl.
  • 3 add squash to bread mixture.
  • 4 add rest of butter.
  • 5 add salt and pepper.
  • 6 stir well.
  • 7 put in baking dish
  • 8 heat on 375
  • 9 just until heated through.
