Tangy Crock Pot Bbq

Total Time: 8 hrs 5 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 8 hrs

Ingredients

  • 14 ounces french onion soup
  • 1 cup molasses
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon chili pepper
  • 1 teaspoon celery salt
  • 6 ounces tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon dry mustard
  • cayenne pepper, to taste
  • black pepper, to taste
  • bay leaf
  • 1 -2 cup vegetable stock or 1 -2 cup water

Recipe

  • 1 combine all ingredients in the crock pot, stir with a whisk. use the hot water to rinse the molasses off of the measuring cup.
  • 2 add the protein of your choice.
  • 3 cook for the appropriate amount of time, spoon the sauce over the top occasionally.
