Conh Chowdah (corn Chowder)

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 white onion, chopped
  • 4 slices bacon, diced
  • 6 ears fresh corn
  • 2 quarts heavy whipping cream
  • salt to taste
  • ground black pepper to taste

Recipe

    Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 25 mins Ready Time: 35 mins

  • remove corn kernels from the ears of corn.
  • saute bacon, onions, and corn in a medium pot until the onions are translucent and the bacon is crispy.
  • add the heavy cream. heat through over medium low heat. season with salt and pepper. serve.
